A lot of pumping solutions only look at head, flow and power: liquid temperature is often disregarded as irrelevant to the requirements. Sometimes, however, it is crucially important for industrial processes and might be the optimum parameter to control.
iSOLUTIONS give options for direct temperature control: for example, with moulding tool applications, where temperatures need to be constant in order to maintain the material flow and short curing times.

The basic control software is installed by Grundfos, then we configure it to your needs by adding a number of operation parameters (known as a GSC file – Grundfos Software Communication) via GENI (Grundfos protocol). These instructions may include minimum speed, Kp, ti, etc. Once installed, it should not need any further adjusting.
Getting the best can save you money
Getting the right, customised E-pump solution may save you money on the initial investment as well as on the more efficient operation. This is because sensors of your choice can be connected easily and directly to the pump, eliminating the need for external control cabinets and instrumentation. You will need less equipment in your system, as the PI regulator/MGE motor sometimes can replace regulating valves and sensors completely.
